Atlantic Central Logistics property owners were planning to sell the building within a few years while retaining the land. The building was in need of a new roof and already had existing tenants.
Geoscape Solar came up with a solar energy finance solution that included roof financing, a real estate model that depicted increased building value as a result of adding solar energy, and long term lower utility bills that benefits both the owners and tenants. The original owners kept the State Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) when they sold the building.
