Bestworks Industries for The Blind employs blind people to construct military clothing. Their mission is to “turn tax recipients into tax payers.” As their organization grew, so their need for physical expansion. Bestworks needed a way to reduce their operating costs in order to fund their larger facilities. 

Geoscape Solar custom designed a way for Bestworks to go solar for no money down. Geoscape retains ownership of the system while Bestworks benefits from reduced energy costs and the State Renewable Energy Credits. As a result of going solar and being able to expand their organization, Bestworks Industries won an award for growth from the National Industries for The Blind.
