The Wilshire Grand  Hotel wanted to reduce their carbon footprint and market the hotel as environmentally conscience.  The property was a design challenge. Their roof had multiple orientations and pitches. The hotel lacked any property that could be utilized for a ground mount system.  

Geoscape Solar engineered a system that combined multiple ballasted roof systems, penetrated roof systems, and 2 carports that met 99% of the hotel’s energy needs. The carport design includes electric vehicle charging stations that generate additional revenue for the hotel. Geoscape Solar’s marketing team provided a lobby monitor and in room display cards that highlight the Wilshire Grand’s commitment to the environment.
